Historic all-steel ship built in Germany in 1928 by the Schiffswerft Lindenau Memel & Cie shipyard in Kiel. It was originally used as a ferry and for excursions on Lake Curi. Between 1955 and 1963 the ship was bought by the Italian shipowning company Felice Giuffre´, which used her to transport passengers from Puglia to the Tremiti, from Lignano to Venice, then to Giuffrè & Lauro and connected the port of Naples to Capri, taking her current name of Faraglione. In 2013 the ship was purchased by Italia Shipping Management, which subjected her to a major restyling, leaving the livery unchanged, inserting new furnishings and installations and assigning her to exclusive chartering, events, small meetings and daily mini-cruises. Today the ship is under new ownership and in need of refitting. She is approved to carry over 300 passengers and has the possibility of becoming a grand restaurant for about 160 people surrounded by antique brasses and fine mahogany doors. Being a 53 m long and 7 m wide ship, it has great potential and there are many possibilities to diversify its use.
